Škabe Farmhouse has two separate buildings. One is our home, and the other has our private family kitchen plus apartments for guests upstairs. There are verdant gardens throughout the property, creating an intimate and relaxing setting perfect for enjoying morning coffee on your apartment terrace.
The three guest apartments are located on the top floor of the large house. On the ground floor is a three hundred year old cellar with its original stone walls and fire place, and an adjoining olive oil storage and tasting room. Just outside the cellar you will find a typical Istrian farmhouse porch... yet another comfortable place to sit and watch the world go by.

The apartments are comfortable for two adults or a family with children (of 13+ y/o.) using additional divan bed or a cradle we can provide for you. There is also one parking place for each apartment.
We are proud to say that the doors and windows as well as all the wooden furniture were handmade by our family. We've given special attention to creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere for your stay.
If you visit during the summer season, apart from recommending a variety of beaches and day drives, we will be glad to share with you some beautiful untouched beaches that only the locals know about. You can also rent a bike here, so you don't need to bring bikes along unless you are a professional biker and must bring your own. Bicycling in Istria is very popular among professional and easy riders alike. And we know from experience that Istrian hills and country roads are fun as well as challenging.
Sports centers nearby offer a number of activities and rental gear for scuba diving, fishing, horseback riding, golf, tennis, etc.
